Prescription lenses
Bigatmo RX lenses have exactly the same outstanding characteristics as our plano lenses – with the addition of a prescription.
What makes our prescription product stand out from the crowd is the construction of our sunlenses. All our lenses are designed to be sun filters and the tints and photochromic material are entirely located in the front 0.9mm of the lens. State of the art, computer controlled, free-form cutting and polishing technology is used to place the prescription on the back of the lens.
This is a huge advantage. It means that, when the back of the lens is contoured to form your prescription, the active technology in the front of the lens remains untouched, ready to perform as it was designed to. The tint density is even and the filters work in just the same way as our plano lenses – even the treatments and coatings are the same.
